As CEO of Major & Planned Giving Development, Joe has helped over 75 organizations expand their gift planning programs. He loves structure and process and works with his clients to get more intentional and confident around integrating gift planning into all of their internal conversations, donor interactions, and reporting .

He likes to say “Gift Planning is everyone’s business”.

He works with nonprofits of all shapes and sizes all over the country. Joe tests what he teaches through his work as a part time major gift planning officer for Salesian Missions in New Rochelle NY.

For over 20 years, Doug has worked with various non-profit institutions to develop and strengthen individual giving programs with an emphasis on major giving. He has demonstrated success at institutions like West Chester University, Saint Joseph’s University, Bloomsburg University and currently at the University of Delaware.

Throughout Doug’s career, he has helped secure hundreds of major and planned gifts and has raised over $100M. In addition to his strong background both as a frontline fundraiser as well as overseeing annual and major giving programs, he has experience in prospect management, prospect research and data analytics. Doug’s ability to understand both the front-end of a development organization along with operations allows him to connect all areas of development in support of a successful individual giving program.

Brian was an author, public speaker and thought leader in the gift planning world. In 2007, he founded Gift Planning Development, LLC. Brian provides gift planning services to a wide range of charitable clients from national organizations focused on high-end gift plans to local charities seeking to start new gift planning programs. Brian was also a founding member of Constellation Advancement, LLC, a full-service fundraising consulting firm. Prior to starting GPD, he spent twelve years as a charitable gift planner, directing the gift planning programs for the University of Pennsylvania, Middlebury College and Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations. Brian passed away in 2022 but his legacy and teachings continue as we work with clients on a daily basis.
